Moreen Akankunda serves as Country Director for Impact Water Uganda, where she leads the organization’s largest country program, overseeing operations across thousands of schools. With over 13 years at Impact Water, Moreen has played a pivotal role in scaling safe water access nationwide, building strong partnerships with government and school systems, and ensuring effective implementation of point-of-use treatment and education programs.

She holds an Executive MBA from Uganda Management Institute and brings deep expertise in project management and program delivery. Moreen is passionate about ensuring every child in Uganda has access to safe drinking water as a foundation for better health and learning outcomes..
